Water water everywhere
The rain yesterday was frequently described as Biblical in it’s proportions and not without reason. The photo here is one of a car stranded in a lake on the A69, the lights in the background are those of a police car at the head of a queue of traffic that I think stretched back about 6 miles towards Hexham.
I was on my way to collect my daughter from The Feathers a fantastic gastro pub in Headley on the Hill run by Rhian and Helen.
